Blacksmith - St Cyrus
Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit a Blacksmith based at our St Cyrus Depot.
We are looking for an individual that can see a project through from a customers conception to project completion.
You must be able to use your own intuitive to over come problems and issues that arise during projects. You will work closely with other departments to manufacture and procure parts that may be needed.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to weld to a very high standard and to be able to check their own work for faults. They will have experience of working on a variation of materials.
Skills required:
- Have the ability to read and understand drawings
- Have strong attention to detail and quality control
- Be able to cut materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine and dress the finished product by grinding or sanding.
- Experience of MIG and TIG would be an advantage.
- Be able to complete the Job cards
The successful candidate must be able to work overtime as and when required including evenings and weekends in the busy season.

Agricultural Service Engineers - St Cyrus
Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for Agricultural Service Engineers based at our St Cyrus Depot.
The suitable candidates will be responsible for the servicing, diagnosis and repair of a wide range of Fendt agricultural machinery alongside some other brands.
Previous experience of working in a modern agricultural dealership would be beneficial, although full training will be given from our main dealer-backed training systems.
A thorough understanding of agricultural engineering, having high diagnostic standards and IT skills are prerequisites as are being an effective communicator and a strong team player.
The successful candidates will be required to work overtime, which may include evenings and weekends during the busy season. They must also hold a full driving license.

Parts Assistant - Turriff Depot
We are currently looking to recruit a Parts Assistant for our Turriff Depot.
The successful applicant will be responsible to the existing Parts Manager and will be motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude to work. They will help in the store and in the yard when required, and also deliver parts to customers and between our 3 depots in St Cyrus, Turriff and Muir of Ord.
Skills required: Essential:
- Computer and IT skills Full driving license
- Ability to deal with customers by telephone and in person in a friendly and efficient manner
- Ability to work under your own initiative
An Advantage:
- Knowledge of agriculture machinery and spares
- Knowledge of Ibcos Gold software—although training can and will be given
Full training will be given on the dealer backed online parts ordering system and the input of orders onto the computer package operated by Ross Agri Services Ltd.
