Product Demonstrator/Technology Specialist – to cover all Depots


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Product Demonstrator to assist our successful sales team covering the North East of Scotland.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the safe operation and use of the latest range of Fendt agricultural machinery; from tractors, combines and self-propelled forage harvesters to balers, grassland equipment and a variety of  machinery from our other manufacturers.

They will also be demonstrating and assisting with enquiries relating to Fendt Guidance Systems & Technology.

The ideal candidate will require a good understanding of modern agricultural needs and have the ability to confidently answer any questions the customer may have whilst outlining the benefit of the product being demonstrated.

They should also have a complete understanding of Fendt Guidance and all related Smart Farming & Fendt Technologies, although training will also be given.

This position has an immediate start and would ideally suit candidates from a strong agricultural background.

The successful candidate must be able to work overtime as and when required, including evenings and weekends and in return they will be offered an attractive remuneration package, company vehicle and mobile phone.

Service Manager—Turriff Depot

Due to growth of the company we are currently looking to recruit an Agricultural Service Manager based at our Turriff Depot, in Aberdeenshire.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day control and running of the Turriff Workshop and Service operation. They should maintain excellent customer satisfaction while achieving set targets. 

They will be responsible for leading a team of agricultural engineers/apprentices by example and to agreed standards, planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.

Assisted by the Depot manager and Parts Manager the individual will look to  maintain our  established reputation in delivering professional performance, quality, and reliability in the services we provide.

Skills required:

  • Experience in people management
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent computer skills are essential.
  • A proven track record and good all-round knowledge of  Agricultural Engineering.
  • Ability to work under your own initiative is essential.
  • Knowledge of Ibcos Gold software would be an advantage although training will be given.

Duties will include:

  • Being responsible for the smooth running of the service department
  • Overseeing and organising staff and their workloads
  • Liaising with Group Parts Manager and Depot Manager
  • Dealing with telephone calls, customers and colleagues in a polite, efficient, and proactive manner.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships internally, working closely with Management, Sales and Parts departments
  • Building a good rapport with customers.
  • Full training will be given on the dealer backed software Ibcos Gold.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00 pm plus additional hours as required including evenings and weekends in the busy season.

Salary dependent on experience.

Parts Assistant - Turriff Depot

We are currently looking to recruit a Parts Assistant for our Turriff Depot.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the existing Parts Manager and will be motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude to work. They will help in the store and in the yard when required, and also deliver parts to customers and between our 3 depots in St Cyrus, Turriff and Muir of Ord.

Skills required: Essential:

  • Computer and IT skills Full driving license
  • Ability to deal with customers by telephone and in person in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Ability to work under your own initiative

An Advantage:

  • Knowledge of agriculture machinery and spares
  • Knowledge of Ibcos Gold software—although training can and will be given

Full training will be given on the dealer backed online parts ordering system and the input of orders onto the computer package operated by Ross Agri Services Ltd.

The successful candidate must be able to work overtime as and when required including evenings and weekends in the busy season.
